What You See In Me (or world) Is A Reflection Of You – Rumi

We don’t see things as they are, we see them as we are – Anais Nin

Nuff said about this topic but still it’s so hard to hammer home this point. When one truly feels it – is when eureka ‘under-bodi-vruksha-enlightenment’ moment is possible – the ultimate awakening that all the problems and the solutions are within us 🙂

It’s not in any book that you find an answer rather pustak is just a prop enabling you to discover your own self and understand that all you need has always been within you.. In a way Book reads you and not the other way round.. This applies to epics such as Mahabharata, Ramayana, Vedas or even visuals be it movies or web series

It’s also said that characters of Mahabharata are nothing but human senses or emotions and how they wrestle within our minds..Arjuna signifies gratitude and Karna signifies victimhood… Gratitude kills victimhood at the end as gratitude is the only panacea for a peaceful mind

Our own journey along with our birth DNA, colors the way we perceive the World or a movie or a song or what stimulates our senses. Good news is –it’s malleable and ductile giving us the super power to interpret any situation the way we choose to and it’s only wise to comprehend circumstances & world around us in a way that works in our favor

Truth can never be absolute and everyone is entitled to their own understanding which in turn becomes their version of reality. We all are at various stages of transition and we understand same book or situation or world around us in myriad ways at different junctures of our life and our truth gets modified. So consistency of truth is a myth – we all should love our own unique world view and learn to respect various interpretations of others as long as they are harmless

Simple and Silly example – USA can give a feel of NYC or Nevada based on where your journey took you the most. USA is same but mental image or perception is so varied based on the individual’s voyage. Either it can be a vibrant hi-fi fashion city or a desert terrain. More the exposure and experience one understands that there is nothing right or wrong just to each his/her own

We see what we want to see – one might be going to a certain place of work for a decade but still not know that a pub is right next door and some other individual who frequently visits pub for a decade can be blissfully unaware of an entire tech park.. Both are on a high for sure and smoking some shit to be that oblivious to their surroundings but it’s a fact that we see what we choose to and our world view or truth gets defined by that

When someone treats you bad – it simply means that they have their own lives screwed up that needs fixing at the earliest. So just be kind to them if you are generous enough else blissfully ignore such creatures. Fashion can both be a form of expression or hiding (Line Credit : lady gaga) based on the individual’s mood on that particular day. If you really wanna see and feel pleasantness then be the change as conveyed by our dearest Bapu

Also, One should see the world as they are..and who they are can be changed.. and that makes world as beautiful as one is.. Entire universe or bramhand is within us…Let’s end with these lovely two lines

le de ke apne paas faqat ik nazar to hai, kyuuñ dekheñ zindagī ko kisī kī nazar se ham – SAHIR LUDHIANVI

Nazaria hamesha apni ho, taaki zindagi khud ko kamaal lage.. Bas nazar na lage – Ameen

  1. Very well expressed could connect to thus very well because its all our own thoughts and prescriptions which we see……also i could remember one Kannada sentence similar one…..”Avaravara Manadante Avaravara Drushtiyuu Here”
Like when the poet sees a Full Moon he composes few poems or praises admiring beauty…..and the same Moon when seen by Artist he imagines a mother holding a baby….and a robber sees as some thing precious could be there…..
So its all our own mind and thoughts which we see……
